The Village's Blacksmith

Not everyone knows her real name, but everyone knows the one referred to as the "amber blacksmith" or "Anvil Lafine", the best blacksmith in the region, who despite her young age has been forging for the most famous adventurers.

For this character, I've been inspired by an original concept from Namgwon Lee www.artstation.com/namgwon (thank you for letting me make a 3D version!) and wanted to push her further and give her the "friendly RPG blacksmith who helps your party" vibe.
Been inspired by various universes, mainly Vagrant Story, FF12 and all these sepia toned art styles.

I also wanted to train my skills at rigging and skinning, as well as experimenting and playing with blendshapes in zbrush/maya.
I'm aware the animation is not pro level and that's not what I'm good or want to be good at; but I think it's enough to give more life to and showcase this character.
